Hello There!
My name is Alejandra de la Rosa and I’m a kindergarten teacher at Mountain View Elementary. This will be my second year at Mountain View, where eagles don’t fly, they SOAR! Previously I taught preschool, kindergarten, and first grade for seven years at Whittier. Outside of teaching, I enjoy working out, watching anime with my cat and fiance, and traveling to indulge in local cuisine. I like to teach my students how to count, sing, and greet others in Spanish and Japanese. Thank you for stopping by! Gracias! ありがとう!
Why Do I Teach?
Education
At Whittier College, I obtained both my BA and MA in Education, deepening my understanding of curriculum design, assessment, and instructional strategies. I gained hands-on experience through practicums and student-teaching, preparing me for a career as an effective and knowledgeable educator.
