SchoolAI is a one-stop shop for K-12 teachers, you will not have to look anywhere else for spaces, tools, and assistants. Spaces gives students experiences with any subject using ChatGPT. For example, they can talk to Jane Goodall to learn about her time in Africa studying chimpanzees. I found the tools to be the most useful since there is EVERY tool you will need. The tools I utilize more frequently are generating lesson plans, worksheets, and performance tasks. Don’t worry, there’s a lot more! SchoolAI also has assistants you can chat with like a Common Core expert, essay grading helper, field trip coordinator, etc.
K-5 Math is a website where you will find teaching resources to support standards-aligned math instruction. It is easy to navigate since you can click on one of the three main domains (number, geometry, measurement & data) specific for your grade level. If you are looking for worksheets this is not the place. Here you will find easy-prep engaging resources to simplify your math lesson planning. I love to use the puzzles, games, and tasks during math centers. Each domain also contains a list of recommended read alouds that are fiction and non-fiction to build students’ background knowledge and vocabulary.
Canva, a teacher favorite, allows you to create a wide range of visual content, including worksheets, newsletters, planner, class schedule, token board or whatever your imagination can envision. It has a vast library of templates, images, icons, and design elements that can be customized to suit your needs. I have used Canva to create a Back-to-School Night presentation, meet the teacher poster, homework calendars, flyers for events happening in the classroom, covers for books students have written and illustrated, games for reading centers, and the video of “Why I Teach?” for my website to name a few.
